Superheroes all by there lonesome.

No, the title isn't a bad thing. It's a good thing.

Just read about the Fantastic Four and the move to July 8th. Great move, why, here's the logic. June 29th, "War of the Worlds" makes it's debut, June 29th. It starts the holiday rush early. It will be in for six days. That's six days for people to see that movie. July 4th was the same time Fantastic Four was going to be shown. Pretty much a good battle, more over Spielberg would wind up winning. I think John would agree with me on that.

Now Fantastic Four moved to July 8th. A column reported that they will not have any competition for the beginning of that weekend. They will be the only new movie thus far for that time period. Meaning, everyone that wanted to see, will have the chance to see it, because all the other shows, including "War of the Worlds," will be at least a week old.

There's that tidbit, now the other. Another superhero movie will get to flap its wings by itself as well. Yeah, Batman Begins which is out June 17th, has no competition either. That means, it can be packed for a long time, specifically until June 29th, why, duh duh duh, "War of the Worlds." Who cares, not me, this is a superhero blog.

Kind of cool to know that Batman Begins and Fantastic Four get to fly solo when they debut on the big screen. Of course things change, anything can happen, but right now, they fly solo.

More on the Fantastic Four go here.
