Avengers: Age of Ultron

It's almost here.  What an interesting ride. It had its qualities as a sequel. I wish I got to see the Whedon version, but alas, it did not happen.

It is a theatre experience for sure.  Fun, action packed, and just well done.

Did it top the first? Not really. It had it's moments, it just was over hyped.

All in all, it was good.  Let's get ready for the final phase.

Sequel to Superman Returns

There are rumors going around that Bryan Singer's sequel to Superman Returns is helming about a return of General Zod. Even speculation that Jude Law is in the mix as reported by web sites and a buddies entertainment section of those reports.

Now, if this happens, this is going to suck. Why?

Well, that means it's just watching Richard Donner's movies all over again.

Bryan Singer in the reports said it was going to have more stuff in it.

Here's a list of to do for the next movie:

No more Donner stuff. No more.

It can still have the romance involvement for Clark/Superman and Lois Lane. It's okay, everyone enjoys seeing Superman having to deal with that situation.

It has to have a little more action and dialogue. Show more emotions.

Have a truly hurt and injured Superman. Great set up for a third movie, yeah. Maybe not.

Rumors have shown that some people want a Darkseid or Doomsday movie. Although that would be great to have, the technology for those characters at least Doomsday is not completely there. It if does come out in 2009, maybe a good chance shadowing and that CGI stuff could be. It's not at that point yet.

NO MORE DONNER REFERENCES as stated above.

Could people handle another two and a half hour movie? Yes, if it has the story and every other angle as the first one, only twice as awesome.

Not to many comical references. Oh wait I all ready said no more Donner references.

Bryan Singer made a good movie in Superman Returns. I expect him to make a great sequel. Look what he did for X-Men to X-Men two.

He has established Superman back on the big screen, now he really has to turn up the story angles for the sequel.

Updated:

Now things are being said that a sequel may not happen. What kind of poo-poo is that? It should happen. Look, Superman Returns did better at the box, rumor has it, than Batman Begins, and even the first Pirates of the Carribbean. Why would they have a sequel? Has the world just gone away from the Man of Steel, because he too great of a superhero. That just saddens me.

Other things to pe apart of the movie. Superman needs more dialogue. Clark Kent needs to have a lot more dialogue.

Oh, Lois Lane, needs to be able to fight. Kate Bosworth should have a trainer in some sort of martial art or boxing regimen for the next movie. That way people can go, yes, Lois Lane can fight. It's in the comics.

More details to come on Superman and Batman
